What's an eSIM?

Understanding eSIM

Updated over 2 months ago

The e in eSIM stands for embedded (I know, we thought it was electronic too). So an eSIM is just an embedded SIM card. So instead of a little bit of plastic you pop into the tray on the side of your phone, it’s sat inside the phone all nice and cosy and impossible to ping across the room. You can run multiple eSIMs alongside your main plastic SIM if you have one. Most new phones don’t even have a plastic SIM option. A little bit of good for the planet there, plastic be gone!
